Seriously? iPad? What the heck is the point? "You can watch tv! you can watch movies! you can read books! you can play games!" Well newsflash! You can do all of that stuff already! I just got out of class where it was mentioned and we saw a video about what it can do and my response was the open my mouth as far as it would go in astonishment at the laziness of people!
"Well, you can walk down the street and get internet through AT&T!" yea, until you bump into somebody on the street, drop it and then it gets trampled in rush hour!
On this iPad, you can read a newspaper and see the headlining photo...and then at the flick of a finger change the photo!
This reminds me of the Kindle or whatever you call it that you can buy and then upload books on it so you have all of your books in the palm of your hand. What happens if it gets lost or stolen? You loose all of your books! I'm a bibliophile, I love my books and I love holding them and reading them and just having them around me... I wouldn't get the same satisfaction if I had a Kindle or an iPad. I think that we need to invent things that are going to help our community as a whole, not things that are just going to make us lazy and sleepy all the time so that we never get anything done!
I can't even express my loathing for this invention. Ridiculous. Preposterous. Un-needed. Bad.
