So, I had to go to the site nsnsports.net/nek and critique it because it is right in the center of town and the owner/manager/ boss is coming into class on Thursday. The assignment was to critique it and was I saw was really neat.
I wasn't expecting it to be such an in-depth and elaborate site. If you look to the left side, it gives a list of towns in Vermont that they cover, Lyndon Institute being the closest because it is right in Lyndonville is an obvious start. There are many good action shots of the sports played and they have many lists of stories that they have done. There's nsn radio, podcasts, uploaded videos, message boards and even advertisements for local businesses (China Moon Chinese buffet is there also =)
I think this site is very well put together considering the fact that it is for covering High School sports events. I think it even encompasses a various parts of the state.
The only thing I think I would add to just make it a little more user friendly and interactive would be maybe a game. Like a hockey game or soccer or even basketball. Just as a little sidebar thing that could be fun.
